Kosgoda is one of the seaside resorts on the west coast.
In this area along the road are a number of breeding places for sea turtles. The eggs of the sea turtles are searched for on the beaches and dug up to be buried again in the hatchery to breed them out.
The former nest robbers are now trained as animal protectors, but there are also still turtle farms that do not focus 100% on the animals but keep the small sea turtles longer for the tourists and thus minimize the chances of survival for these animals again.
